:: American Football Betting
American Football is just referred to as Football in the US and it's often likened to Rugby. It's also a great sport to place bets on. You can see the odds online and make informed choices on which team to back, based on a team's game history. The game does have a very different pace to Rugby in truth though and there are some very specific differences with regard to rules.

As with Baseball, American Football is a sport synonymous with national pride in the US. Americans tend to call English Football 'Soccer' but both US Football and UK Football have teams of 11 players and each team has a set of goalposts (or to use US football terminology, uprights.)

American Football also consists of four, fifteen minute quarters and there's a twelve minute long, half time intermission in the middle. With American Football, points are scored by a team each time they take the ball in to the opposing team's end zone either by carrying, throwing or kicking it. The team with the most points by the time the game ends, wins.

Interestingly, while Canadian Football is similar to American Football there are some differences there too. For example, the playing areas and teams are larger in Canadian Football than in the US version. However, the basic premise of the game stays the same.

Making bets on American Football can be satisfying for a few reasons; games are entertaining and gripping to watch. The teams have strong identities and the odds are easy to understand and relate to previous victories. All this makes betting on American Football Games exciting and fun!
